Mwinji is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Public Policy Department. She handles an array of commercial litigation ranging from contractual disputes, lease disputes to debt collections. Mwinji has also handled several employment disputes often involving large mining companies, telecommunications companies and other large corporates. Mwinji also focuses on competition and consumer protection law and has provided advise to various world-renowned corporations. She further focuses on data protection, privacy and cybersecurity and has advised several high-profile international companies on data privacy and protection matters.
Mwinji holds an LLB from the University of Zambia, is an Advocate of the Superior Courts of Zambia, a member of the Law Association of Zambia and the SADC Lawyers Association. She is also an Arbitrator and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Mwinji has provided competition advise on the sale of majority interest in a leading mining company, provided and handled high complex merger advise and notification with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission on the sale of majority interest in a leading cement manufacturing company. She further provided competition advise to a world leading airline before its launch on the Zambian market. Mwinji has further participated in providing legal advise on Zambian law in a complex energy and power industry dispute arbitration.
