Mutinta is a Senior Associate in the Energy, Resources and Infrastructure Department of the firm with broad experience advising on energy, mining and infrastructure transactions, as well as banking and finance law. Her recent and increased participation on some of the country’s pioneer energy projects such as scaling solar has deepened her understanding of the sector-specific regulations, specifically, on legal aspects establishing solar projects, off-grid and mini-grids power systems, as well as power wheeling.
Mutinta has 8 years’ experience with considerable knowledge of real estate, mining and energy work. Additionally, she has expertise in advising clients on a broad range of issues on environmental regulatory compliance, particularly with the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA).
Mutinta holds an LLB from the University of Zambia and LLM from University of Cape Town and is an Advocate of the Superior Court for Zambia and a member of the Law Association of Zambia.
