First Quantum Mining and Operations Limited: Advisor on the Option and Joint Venture Agreement to be executed by First Quantum Mining and Operations Limited, Teck Resources Limited and Gamma Copper Limited to ensure compliance with Zambian law.
Anglo Exploration (Zambia) Limited (“AEZL”): Advisor on an Airborne Geophysical Services Agreement with Spectrem Air (Proprietary) Limited (“Spectrem”) for survey services by Spectrum in relation to AEZL’s mineral exploration licence.
Glencore International AG: Key advisor on the disposal of majority stake in Mopani Copper Mines Plc and creation of a funding arrangement for the transaction.
African Rainbow Minerals Limited (“ARM”) and Vale International S.A: Advisor to Johannesburg-listed African Rainbow Minerals Limited (“ARM”) and Vale International S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Vale International Holdings GmbH, in relation to disposal of their 80 percent indirect joint venture stake in Zambia’s Lubambe Copper Mine to EMR Capital Bidco Limited (“EMR”), a specialist resources private equity management firm, for USD97.1 million in cash.
Wuhuan Engineering Company Limited (“Wuhuan”): Advisor to Wuhuan Engineering Company Limited an international engineering consulting, design and contracting enterprise of chemical petro-chemical and medical industries, with respect to the proposed 51 percent acquisition of EMCO Mining Company and EMCO Energy Zambia Limited.
Trident Royalties Plc: Advisor on the creation and perfection of a Royalty Agreement in relation to Mimbula mining Project which involved the undertaking a of a due diligence, exercise, provision of advice on the structuring and regulatory framework for the royalty arrangement, preparation and perfection of the royalty documentation.
