Corpus Advises Dot Com Zambia PLC on its Oversubscribed Initial Public Offering on the Lusaka Securities Exchange
Corpus is pleased to announce that it acted as Legal Advisor to Dot Com Zambia PLC in connection with its highly successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) Alternative Market, concluded on 5 December 2025.
The IPO achieved 114% oversubscription, attracting over 500 new shareholders and closing one week ahead of schedule. With 75% Zambian investor participation, this offering represents a significant milestone in broadening retail engagement within Zambia’s capital markets.
Dot Com Zambia’s listing, the first of its kind driven entirely by retail investors, demonstrates the viability of innovative capital formation pathways for emerging and growth stage enterprises. It also underscores the increasing readiness of Zambian investors to back credible, transparent, and well governed SMEs.
Corpus’ mandate included advising on regulatory compliance, prospectus preparation, corporate governance, and listing requirements, working closely with Dot Com Zambia, the Lusaka Securities Exchange, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other key stakeholders including but not limited to Kukula Capital Limited to ensure a seamless and compliant process.
We congratulate Dot Com Zambia on this groundbreaking achievement and are proud to have contributed to a transaction that strengthens Zambia’s capital markets ecosystem and supports the growth of homegrown technology enterprises.
