Zambia’s Economy Sector Insights – Issue 1

24 November 2025

We are delighted to launch the first issue of Zambia’s Economic Sector Insights, a publication developed by Corpus Legal Practitioners to provide clear, practical and forward-looking analysis across the sectors driving Zambia’s economic growth.

This inaugural edition brings together thought leadership from our multidisciplinary team, covering:

  • Energy & Extractives – regulatory reforms, competition considerations, data protection and development of energy projects in Zambia.
  • Public Sector – transport regulation, NGO registration requirements, land tenure challenges and loan agreements.
  • Manufacturing – intellectual property protection and compliance for establishing a retail pharmacy in Zambia.
  • Services Sector – avoiding pitfalls in securing mining collateral and smart drought insurance.

This publication speaks to the collective effort and expertise within the Firm. We extend our appreciation to our Editors: Charles Mkokweza (Senior Partner), Sydney Chisenga (Managing Partner), Jackie Jhala (Partner), Lupiya Simusokwe (Partner) and Mutinta Annel Zulu (Partner).
